Magazine editing stage

                                                           Editing Stage

For my magazine I again had a long process of changing and editing my main image and the text that sat around the photo was difficult. For one I made a rough draft of a basic layout for my magazine then I edited for there.

Stage one: First created a first draft for my magazine cover, however I found the main image to not be as effective as it did not have a cinematic feel. Therefore I changed the main image to a blacksmith, I was lucky enough to go to a blacksmiths and take a image of one of the staff at work.

Stage two: Once I made my first draft for my magazine cover, I then started to edit my cover and play around with colours, as I found that I had too many colours, and for most codes and conventions magazines mainly have three colours, therefore I needed to once chosen my main image select three colours I would use throughout my magazine.

Stage three: Once I had my second image chosen I had I idea of the colours I was going to pick I then I was able to start playing around and move text to areas of the magazine that felt best fitted.

Stage four: The main image had poor quality and this annoyed me hugely as I felt that it was affecting the over all image of my magazine therefore, I strapped everything made beforehand in order to start fresh and find a better quality image.

Stage Five: Now starting over, I made a brief layout for my magazine in order to create a basis idea of what would go where, this enabled me to be more aware and be clean and certain of my overall layout for my magazine.

Stage Five: Now I found my main image I was able to pick three colours that would run throughout my magazine, and that being pink, white and a dark musty tone.

Here was my original magazine cover, however, once I changed the layout alongside the main image I was able to see the vast improvement made, as I stuck to three colours which made it professional
