My Teaser Poster
I had a long and hard process when creating my teaser poster, firstly I created a black ground and ensured that the eye was the main focus, however once my text was placed and my final layout was created I found that something was missing- therefore by editing and redrafting my teaser poster I changed the tones of my poster and included and extra layer, this was an image of mist with elements of crack alongside the image. By doing this It added texture within my poster and made the appearance of my final poster look more thrilling rather than having a pain black background which was not as effective as I wanted it to be.
Stage one: my final first draft for my poster.
As seen within the image on the right, the black ground was no as effective as many Sci-fi posters are, the title also proved to not stand out as much, the title was not strong enough therefore by re-sizing the word 'destroyer' allowed it to be obvious to the audience what the film was potentially about.
Stage two: Finishing my teaser poster.
In terms of my title I changed the colour from red to white in order to add more of a thriller atmosphere to my poster, the red made it clear that something or someone would be killer, as red symbolizes death. Alongside this I moved my tag line, from the top to the bottom to move space out the text which created more focus for both the title and the main image.
